Exhibition: “Berlin.Status [2]” at Künstlerhaus Bethanien

Künstlerhaus Bethanien is opening a new exhibition on 24th May 2013 which showcases the works of over 50 Berlin-based artists born between 1978 and 1984. Berlin.Status [2] takes a look at contemporary creative and artistic tendencies in the city – it’s a kind of follow-up exhibition to a similar show Bethanien organised last year, hence the [2] in the exhibition name. Exhibition: “New Kids On The Block” at Tanas Gallery

Tanas Gallery in Heidestraße is opening a new exhibition in March – New Kids On The Block, curated by artist Ayşe Erkmen. The group exhibition is showing the works of 22 young artists from seven countries – check out the exhibition website: Tanas; it looks very exciting! The vernissage is on Friday, 15th March 2013, 6 to 9 pm and the exhibition will run until 11th May 2013. I’ll have to give the opening a miss since I’ll be in Düsseldorf at a trade show (Beauty International) but I’ll definitely visit the exhibition.

Live Talk with Takashi Murakami at Hidari Zingaro, Saturday 12th January 2013

Yes indeed, there’ll be a live talk with Murakami in Hidari Zingaro in Kreuzberg this Saturday. How cool is that?! I’ll definitely go; besides seeing Murakami live (!) it’ll also give me a chance to flirt some more with the beautiful ceramic art object by Yuji Ueda …unfortunately I still can’t afford the 136 Euro but I’m allowed to dream, aren’t I??

Globe-M: Spanish artist duo PSJM – article

Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing Spanish artist duo PSJM; they are originally from Spain but live and work right here in Berlin. They are very international artists though, exhibitions all over the place. I liked their artwork (and they are also nice people!), go check them out: www.psjm.es

And here is my article on globe-M (as always: German only!): Das Kapital der Kunst.
