Globe-M: “Ostkreuz: Westwärts” at C/O Berlin – article

Tonight is the grand opening of C/O Berlin’s new open-air exhibition: “Ostkreuz: To the West” features the works of thirteen photographers from famous photo agency Ostkreuz. C/O Berlin invited the Ostkreuz photographers to take pictures of today’s Charlottenburg, the neighbourhood where C/O Berlin is now located.

The result: a great range of photos that show the different faces of Charlottenburg – luxury stores on Kudamm and gorgeous apartement interiors, homeless people, druggies and hookers, young artists at the Universität der Künste (around the corner from C/O Berlin), Charlottenburg streets at midnight, scenes from Breitscheidplatz, guests at different hotels in the neighbourhood, visitors in the zoo…..it’s all there, open-air and free for all. The exhibition will run until 24th November 2013, outside the Amerika-Haus. And here is the official globe-M article: Neue alte Mitte.
